Under the Victorian Long Service Leave Act 2018, employees can take leave after 7 years of continuous employment (accruing at 1 week per 60 weeks of service). In NSW under the Long Service Leave Act 1955, standard entitlement is 2 months (8.67 weeks) after 10 years, with pro-rata payout available after 5 years under specific termination conditions.
Is Long Service Leave paid out upon resignation?
